Join us August 27th for the inaugural SLICE (Seattle Loves Indie Creators Expo)
“Why do I have to go all the way to SF, LA, Germany or some other far off expensive city to meet the same amazing people I can meet right here in Seattle?” is a question we have been hearing over and over again in almost every conversation we have had with our games industry colleagues in the past couple of years.
We heard you, we listened, and we at Seattle Indies are proud and excited to announce SLICE! A brand new games industry event for indie and AA studio founders, executives, publishers, investors, service providers, and developers. Taking place at the historic McCaw Hall at Seattle Center on August 27th, 2025.
You don’t have to be from Seattle to attend SLICE. We welcome all industry professionals to join us at the inaugural event for a day packed with focused networking, practical tools, insights, and connections.

Seattle and Washington state are home to nearly 50,000 game developers and has been without a major developer focused event since 2019 and a dedicated industry B2B event since 2023. SLICE changes all of that and will be an event to educate, celebrate, and reinvigorate the local community and developer ecosystem. We are navigating one of the biggest periods of change in the history of the industry and Seattle is showing our attitude of perseverance and determination to keep building and growing despite the hardships.
SLICE (Seattle Loves Indie Creators Expo) is a one-day games industry B2B conference to celebrate and empower developers and business leaders to build and grow thriving studios. Whether you’re leading a tiny but mighty team, guiding a growing studio, or looking to level up your own skills.
With tracks spanning leadership, business, fundraising, production, and creative development, SLICE is your backstage pass to the real talk, real tactics, and real people shaping the future of games. Join us in the heart of Seattle’s geeky, passionate game dev community—two days before PAX West kicks off—for an energizing dive into what it means to thrive as a game maker today.
I am humbled by the experience and insight of the amazing team we have put together to bring you this highly curated event Olga Sheverieva, Ty Taylor, Jennifer Yi, Mitch Gitelman, Renee Gittins, Jen MacLean, Mark DeLoura, Jon Kimmich, Leah Hoyer, Shannon Roach Halberstadt, and Erin Serletic.
