Seattle Indies is non-profit organization dedicated to fostering a vibrant and inclusive community of independent game developers in the greater Puget Sound area.

Our primary focus is on hosting events and activities that empower people to make games, share feedback, network, and showcase their projects. We also strive to provide friendly spaces where developers can congregate for support, discussion, and news on game development, in addition to highlighting the works of our talented creators to the general public.

Meet the Organizers

Alex Schearer

Alex Schearer

Alex Schearer has shipped a number of award-winning independent games across multiple platforms. Alex is our event whisperer: he founded most of the original meetup events, enabled others to run events, and currently hosts the Eastside Meet & Drinks.

Constance Chen

Constance Chen

Constance Chen is a web developer by day, and Seattle Indies organizer by night. She handles most of SI’s digital presence, and above all, loves hosting events that empower the incredibly talented Seattle community to show off their work.

Thomas O'Connor

Thomas O’Connor

If you cut Thomas O’Connor’s heart in half, you would find the words “indie” carved there. Also, you would have killed him at that point. Tom runs PlayEveryWare, an independent game development studio, and masterminds the annual Holiday Party.

Tim Cullings

Tim Cullings

Tim Cullings moved to the West Coast from New York and never looked back. Tim works at Oculus, organizes the yearly Global Game Jam event, and works tirelessly to find opportunities for Seattle’s indie devs.

Chad Jenkins

Chad Jenkins

Chad Jenkins is the founder of local indie game studio Tetragon Works and primary organizer of the weekly Indie Support Group. There, he's always available to help anyone looking for Unity resources or debugging.
