Puddle Jump Games and Play Festival – Field Day Games

November 13 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm UTC-8

How can games/play shape us and our worlds? Why are games effective forces of creative expression? How does playing change the way we experience? The wonder, excitement, frustration, and triumph of play and games are powerful forces.

The Puddle Jump Games and Play Festival is a showcase of innovative new games of all types and a chance for players of all backgrounds to come together and play.

For one weekend only, we’ll be turning the Fremont Abbey and the surrounding neighborhood into a playground with board games, social games, physical games, digital games, and talks about the role of games and play in our community.

The event is pay-what-you-will and all ages (bar available for 21+), although the games are primarily designed for ages 12+. To purchase tickets to contribute to the event visit https://www.eventbrite.com/e/puddle-jump-games-and-play-festival-fremont-abbey-tickets-193952596437

About Fremont Abbey Arts Center: Our mission is to curate welcoming arts & cultural experiences where people of all ages and incomes can explore creativity, enjoy beauty, grow empathy and increase awareness.

We aim for Abbey Arts produced events to be focused on the beauty of live music and the arts. Music & arts events help people take time away from the busy distractions of daily life, put down their digital devices, and really engage in an experience. We believe this can help us all grow more empathy and build awareness while connecting more with others in the community.

Abbey Arts focuses especially on local music, visual art, spoken word, storytelling, and contemporary dance. Formats include multi-arts collaborative performances like The Round, intimate close-up concerts, new dance performances with live music, community gatherings like The Moth storytelling event, our special Cathedrals series, dance classes, workshops and artistic life celebrations.

Abbey Arts programs are non-religious and all are welcome. https://www.fremontabbey.org/about/
