Happy Halloween!
What’s up indies? I hope you’re all recovering from Halloween and getting excited for more festivities. October was a quieter month for Seattle Indies — at least compared to the whirlwind of activity the past few months. As always, we hosted many great events. Optimism has been a great venue for the Westside Social — and this month we packed the place with more than fifty people attending! Beyond our recurring events we also had the honor to support some of you at MGF and GE2, but more on that below.

While it may have started as an off the cuff joke, we’re very excited about this month’s gift for our Seattle Indies Superheroes. They should be arriving at your doorsteps by mid-month at the latest!
Please use these responsibly, but mostly just use them out in the streets so everyone knows how cool game development is!
Seattle Indies @ GE2 Live
Together with the fine folks at Washington Interactive Network, we saw over 10 indies showing off their games at GE2 Live – an exciting expo of eSports, VR, drones, gadgets, and more.
Seattle Indies @ Mobile Games Forum
The fine folks at Mobile Games Forum at Amazon Appstore invited 5 indies to showcase their games at Bell Harbor this month! They also hosted their first-ever GameDev Showdown, which was won by Seattle Indies’ very own Tiny Bubbles team! Woo hoo!
Coming up next…
Don’t miss our Town Hall this Saturday to chat with and share your feedback with us, as well as our last Show & Tell of the year on November 12th! There’s even two excellent game jams coming up if you’re in need of a game to show off. And lastly, November’s Superhero reward will be Steam keys to a surprise tinyBuild game!
And as always, let us know if we can help signal-boost your game by adding it to our Steam or itch.io collections, or on twitter @SeattleIndies!
