Kicking Off 2018 with a Bang

How’s it going indies! Is 2018 off to a good start? Seattle Indies kicked off the year in fashion with our biggest game jam ever! We helped host Global Game Jam at the Pacific Science Center this year with over 220 attendees! We also took some time scrub through our SIX footage and make a sweet recap trailer.

Global Game Jam 2018

This was Seattle Indies third time hosting Global Game Jam. This year was our biggest and best jam yet. We partnered with Pacific Science Center and AIE to put on a mega-jam. Over 200 game developers were in attendance with 40 games created over the weekend!

RenCon’s Kick Off the Con Party

We also got an opportunity to represent Seattle Indies at Renton City ComicCon’s kickoff party! We reached out to some new devs on the south-side, gave away some sweet swag and fidget spinners, and showed off some great Seattle indie games.

Humble Bundle Meet & Pitch

On February 13th Seattle Indies is hosting Humble Bundle for an evening of game dev busines. Come learn about Humble Bundle’s new publishing wing, and if you have a PC or console game you’d like to pitch bring a 30-second trailer and elevator pitch, too!
