Thanks for Making December Merry!

Jan 5th, 2018 by Tim Cullings

Hey indies, happy holidays and happy New Year! Hopefully 2017 was another successful year for you, and that you’re already making plans for 2018. For Seattle Indies, the past year was the best one yet – and, patrons, you deserve special thanks! As folks headed home for the holidays, December was a quieter. However, we did manage to end the year with a bang at the third annual Seattle Indies Holiday party!

Seattle Indies Holiday Party

This year over 180 Seattle Indies joined us at the Seattle Indies Holiday Party. People dressed up, there was a photo booth, and we even had a silent auction. In short, it was a great way to wrap up the year and celebrate our great community!

Seattle Indie Spotlight

Also this month, Constance published the latest Seattle Indie Spotlight, highlighting local indie game studio Mega Crit Games! They’ve just launched their first title, Slay the Spire, to Steam and were happy to share some juicy details about their process.

Coming up next…

With the new year, things will start to pick up and return to normalcy. So expect our recurring events to pick back up. The Indie Support Group will be trying out a new venue. The Critique Circle and Socials will resume again. And at the end of the month we’re hosting our annual Global Game Jam site!

And as always, let us know if we can help signal-boost your game by adding it to our Steam or itch.io collections, or on twitter @SeattleIndies!
