Thanks for Making November Great!
Hey indies, how was your Thanksgiving? Hopefully filled with friends, food, and gaming! This month flew by between all the great game dev events in the area and the holidays. Our monthly social at Optimism had forty people show up – and it was just a few days before Thanksgiving! We also held our second Town Hall. Thanks to everyone who attended. We learned a lot from all of you and look forward to improving Seattle Indies through your feedback. Finally, November saw our latest Show & Tell at the Living Computer Museum where many of you shared your games with the public!
Seattle Indies @ Town Hall
Over twenty people showed up at our second Town Hall event. The Town Hall is a chance for everyone in the community to talk with the Seattle Indies board and help us figure out what to do better. We’re already implementing feedback from the event – for example, look for a lot more signage at our events in the future!
Seattle Indies @ Show & Tell
Our friends at Living Computer Museum graciously hosted the latest Show & Tell. This is a quarterly event which gives local devs a chance to share their work-in-progress with the public. This time we had 19 great games on tap. Join us and show your game at the next event!
Coming up next…
December tends to quiet down as Christmas and the holidays set in. But Seattle Indies isn’t going to let that happen – we’re throwing an awesome Holiday Party! This will be the third year we host our holiday party and it’s always a blast. This year we’ll have a photo booth, board games, and silent auction with lots of special items. If you’re in town be sure to register for the event, and if you’re a patron you get in for free with a special discount code!
And as always, let us know if we can help signal-boost your game by adding it to our Steam or itch.io collections, or on twitter @SeattleIndies!
